Whistleblowing

We take reports of potential legal violations seriously. Under the German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG), employees and external persons have the right to confidentially report information that has come to their attention in a professional context.

Who can report

  • Employees of benuta GmbH and its subsidiaries
  • External persons in a professional relationship with benuta GmbH — applicants, suppliers, business partners, interns

What can be reported

Violations of applicable law, in particular criminal offences, administrative offences for the protection of life, limb or the health of employees, as well as further violations listed in § 2 HinSchG.

This email address is handled exclusively by a small, named group of internal staff. Reports are treated confidentially — the identity of the reporting person is protected to the extent provided by HinSchG.

What happens after a report

  • Acknowledgement of receipt within 7 days
  • Feedback on the measures taken within 3 months
  • Confidentiality throughout the entire process

Protection against reprisals

Reporting persons are protected against reprisals under § 36 HinSchG. Disadvantage as a result of a report is prohibited and may have legal consequences.
